Party a little too hard last night? Hangovers begin a few hours after drinking alcohol, and their intensity varies depending on the type and amount of alcohol you consumed. The hangover cocktail will help you combat your hangover symptoms such as pounding headache, throbbing eyes and nausea.

The Hangover Cocktail can also be given before intended alcohol intake to help prevent your symptoms before they start.

Drip contains: 1L of fluid, Toradol and Zofran

Maximum benefit: weekly as needed

Our Infusion (IV) Compound Descriptions

Vitamin C

Essential for collagen production, immune function, wound healing, iron absorption and antioxidant protection.  Can be used to prevent or treat common colds and recurrent viral infections, skin aging and wrinkles, fatigue, Vitamin C deficiency and fibromyalgia.

Should be used with caution or avoided in those with a history of kidney stones, iron overload disorder, G6PD deficiency, pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.  Excessive intake can cause nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach, headaches and insomnia.

Vitamin B12

Necessary for a number of bodily functions including red blood cell formation, nervous system function , DNA production and repair. Can be used to treat anemia, nerve damage and cognitive decline.

There are no established Vitamin B12 toxicity levels, it is generally safe and well-tolerated. However, B12 should be avoided in those with known hypersensitivity to the vitamin.

Vitamin B-complex

A powerful group of B vitamins which play an important role in converting food into energy. The complex will provide a rapid boost of energy for individuals feeling run down or fatigued. The Vitamin B’s are also imperative for brain function and development, so may help improve memory, focus and overall cognitive function. Vitamin B-Complex can also provide a calming effect which may reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Biotin (Vitamin B7)

A vitamin essential for many bodily functions, including the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Biotin is also involved in the maintenance of healthy hair, skin and nails. Biotin may also help improve blood sugar control in individuals with prediabetes and diabetes. Biotin may be used to treat skin conditions such as eczema, brittle nails and hair loss.

Biotin is generally safe and well-tolerated, but should be avoided in those with known biotin hypersensitivity.

Magnesium

An essential mineral required for energy production, nerve and muscle function and the regulation of blood pressure and blood sugar levels, it has also been known to improve sleep quality. IV magnesium may be used to improve athletic performance and reduce muscle soreness.

Magnesium toxicity is rare, but signs include nausea and vomiting, low blood pressure and shortness of breath. Those with kidney disease or heart disease should avoid receiving IV magnesium.

Folic Acid (Vitamin B9)

This vitamin is essential for red blood cell production and DNA repair and production. Folic acid is used to treat anemia caused by low red blood cell count and may decrease the risk of heart disease by lowering blood homocysteine levels.

There are no established folic acid toxicity levels, it is generally safe and well-tolerated. High doses may cause GI symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Dexpanthenol (Vitamin B5)

Dexpanthenol is required for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins to produce energy. It is also essential for the production of fatty acids, which are important for healthy skin and hair. Dexpanthenol has been known to improve symptoms of acne as well as promote wound healing and tissue repair. It may also improve fatigue and insomnia.

High doses of dexpanthenol are well-tolerated with no known toxic effects associated with excessive intake.

Vitamin K

This vitamin is essential to help heal injuries through blood clotting and strengthen bones. Vitamin K helps maintain bone mineral density and may help prevent bone fractures and osteoporosis, it may also help to prevent calcium buildup in arteries.

Zofran

A medication used to treat and prevent nausea and vomiting. Zofran may also be used to treat chemotherapy related nausea and vomiting.

The most common side effects include headache and constipation.

Reglan

A medication used to treat common gastrointestinal conditions such as GERD, nausea, vomiting and decreased intestinal motility.

The most common side effects include drowsiness and restlessness.

Toradol

An anti-inflammatory medication used to treat moderate and severe pain, including pain associated with migraine headaches.

The most common side effects include headache, nausea and abdominal pain. This medication should be used with caution in individuals with kidney problems.

Dexamethasone

A steroid used to treat a number of common conditions including migraine headaches, symptoms related to COVID-19, nausea and vomiting and altitude sickness.

The most common side effects include abdominal discomfort and appetite changes.
